Each piece in the Botanique Collection is painted by master glass artist Jan Janecký, whose botanical compositions bring softness, movement, and life to the surface of hand-blown white opal glass. Working in layers with extraordinary patience, Jan builds each design entirely by hand — creating glass cremation urns of genuine depth and luminosity that honor remembrance through color, craft, and the enduring beauty of flowers.
JAN JANECKY, MASTER GLASS PAINTER AND VISIONARY ARTIST
Jan Janecký, a distinguished glass painter and artist based in Liberec, is celebrated for his intricate and richly detailed creations. In 2012, he co-founded Kolektiv Ateliers, a creative hub where artistry flourishes. Jan's collaborations with prestigious brands such as Moser, Lasvit, and Sans Souci have solidified his reputation in the world of fine glass art. His work, often involving the meticulous recreation of 20th-century vase replicas, is a testament to his dedication and skill, with each piece taking several months to complete. Beyond the realm of glass painting, Jan is also passionate about audio-visual creation and finds inspiration in his sound studio, where he explores the fusion of sight and sound.
